Inaugural Legislative Day with Leno fuels political interests

An inaugural Legislative Day will be held in San Francisco on Friday, April 20, 2007 to fuel interest among UCSF School of Pharmacy students to become politically involved in pharmacy-related issues. Featured activities include a presentation, on the UCSF Parnassus campus, by California State Assemblyman Mark Leno and a health fair, at San Francisco City Hall, for city employees. The day is sponsored by the American Pharmacists Association-Academy of Student Pharmacists (APhA-ASP).
