A year in the life of PhD student Robin Aglietti

Robin Aglietti committed to taking one photo each day for calendar year 2010, and she succeeded. The kind of commitment needed to carry out this self-imposed photo assignment is also needed to be a scientist, she explains.

Aglietti is a PhD graduate student in the Chemistry and Chemistry and Chemical Biology program at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF). She works in the laboratory of John Gross, PhD, a UCSF School of Pharmacy faculty member.

Aglietti shares here her thoughts on photography and how it has made her a better scientist.
